As an international organization, the Chamber of Commerce is over 4,000 years old.
1500s, Chamber of Commerce in Marseille, France is the first on record.
1773, the first Chamber of Commerce in the U.S was established in Charleston, S.C.
1911, President Taft called for the establishment of a U.S. Chamber of Commerce
